Principal's Corner

Dear Manteno Elementary School Community:

First of all, I want to say thank you for allowing me to be a part of your school community. This year I will be responsible for grades 2-4. Mr. Jake Emerson will be the Principal for grades Prek-1. Even though we are two buildings under one roof, we will be working very closely together this year.

Together, I know that we are going to have a great school year. I would encourage you to become a part of the PTO if you are not already. It's a great way for families to work together with other parents and staff to benefit our children.

As we continue through this year, I would encourage you to get involved with your child's education. I would ask for your involvement by reading correspondence that comes home, helping with homework and volunteering in a classroom, if you can do so. Communication will be essential this year as we continue with many areas of change for our school.

The staff at Manteno Elementary School is here to serve each student. We will work together to help your child succeed academically and socially. I believe that by working together we will achieve our goals to ensure success of the students at Manteno Elementary School. I am excited to be a part of this school community, and I look forward to our journey together this year.

Sincerely,

Matthew Glenn

Principal
