Mrs. Turner directs the 3rd grade performers during recent Rotary Meeting

     Following lunch on Monday the Manteno Rotarians were entertained by a group of 3rd graders from the elementary school.  The group presented songs from their class musical last spring titled, "The Color Factory".  This group practiced for about a week before taking the show on the road.  The group was directed by elementary school music teacher, Mrs. Turner.

     This is a nice way to thank the Rotary Club who once again this year has ordered a student dictionary for each of the children in 3rd grade.  This dictionary project is in its third year and helps our students with the word of the day and with vocabulary in their classroom.  Dictionaries were passed out to the third graders on October 28th at the beginning of the day.
